Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. Torrance People Search does not save a separate copy of those queries on its servers. When you send us a message, we receive the details you choose to share and use them to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create routine logs that can include an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps maintain the site and shows which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How the Data Is Used
The limited data described above supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or assemble personal profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to City of Torrance pages, Los Angeles County and California portals, court systems, libraries, and outside search services. Information submitted on those sites is covered by their policies, not this one. The same applies to sponsored results supplied by a third party.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data already described. Data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it; otherwise, visitor information is not shared.
Safeguards and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because Torrance People Search has no user accounts, it holds no visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under Age 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted information so it can be removed.
California Privacy Choices
California residents may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data under the California Consumer Privacy Act and related Delete Act rules. The California Privacy Protection Agency's DROP platform provides a central data-broker deletion and opt-out route. We can search our contact mailbox and available server logs for a direct request made through the Contact page. Government records held by Torrance, Los Angeles County, or California remain under the control of the relevant custodian.
Policy Changes
Any revised policy will be posted here. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the new version.
